Barbara Chester In my work I try to express my responses to scenes and experiences in such a way that others can share in them. I draw in front of the motif in pastel or paint and later, in my studio, attempt to distil the intensity of the experience on to the canvas. I have exhibited in London at the Atrium Gallery, Art for Youth and the Affordable Art Fair and in the Surrey Artists' Open Studios series and I have work in private collections in England, Germany and Canada. Studio visits can be arranged by appointment. |
